Abstract: The Lake Alice Conservation Area is an approximately 129.5 acre natural area located on the southwestern portion of the main campus, bounded by Museum Road to the north and west, Mowry Road to the south and North-South Drive to the east. Along with the natural areas around Bivens Arm, this Conservation Area has the most significant and diverse environmental resources on the main campus. This determination is based on the relatively large size of the area, mix of community types, undeveloped shoreline buffer and presence of a large water body.
